The new Nissan GTR has now been confirmed that it will be released in late 2007. It will use a twin turbo 3.6 litre, VQ based engine generating about 450hp. The starting price is expected to be around 9 million yen, which equates to about AUD$108,000. But just like the R34 GTR, the price should drop to around $60,000 after 5 years.
If you expect to be driving the Nissan GTR in Australia by christmas next year, then you are very optimistic. Due to SEVS this Nissan GTR wont be eligible for import for a couple of years after its release in Japan. So you have 3 years to start saving your coin!
