How would you rate this car? You can rate this super car right now!

In the example here I am working on an RB26DETT in my R32 GTR. I would assume the process is the same or very simlar for the RB26 in R33's and R34's too.
Tools needed

Below are all the tools I used to change the plugs.

Now that you have all the tools its time to get busy!

Firstly, Pop your bonnet to expose that beautiful engine.

Undo the hose clips with a pair of plyers. This is best done when wearing a St Vinnie style cap.

Grab your trusty allen key and undo all the screws. Make sure you take a fulli sick photo as you do it.

Dont forget about the sneaky little screws at the end of the engine. There is one on each side of the ignition module.

After all the screws are out you can take off the plug cover. I was too weak to disconnect the ignition module so i have just left it and moved the plug cover to the side. This still gives enough room to remove the coilpacks which are under the cover.

Undo all of the bolts holding the coil packs in. There are 6 coil packs with 3 on each rail.

The last bolt has a wire earthed to it, remember to put it back under the bolt when its time to put everything back togethor.

With all the bolts undone you can now pull out the coil packs. They should just pop off.

Here you can see all the old plugs, well the tips of them anyway.

Take out your "plug remover" and screw all of the old plugs out.

If your as weak as I am you might want to find a pole to use as leaverage.

Out with the old, in with the new. (all of the old plugs looked to be in good condition, this one had a bit of corrision)

All of the new plugs are in. Keep turning the plug in until it gets tight, then turn it back a little bit. (but make sure its still tight)

Once all of the new plugs are in just put everything back the way you found it. The coil packs should go in quite easily, if you find you have to apply emence amounts of pressure to get the coil packs on you probably havent lined it up properly. Connect all the clips into the coil packs and put the cover back on. Connect the hose at the back of the engine and your done!

I usually reset the ECU after doing stuff like changing plugs. This can be done by disconnecting the battery and turning the headlights on, tappng the breaks etc. (whatever uses power) Do this for a minute or so until your satisfied there is no power left.

Connect the battery, grab your keys, put them in the ignition, and turn :) You dont really have to wear the plugs in before you can give it some stick, but I let my car idel for 5 mins and didnt feed it much boost.
